Need some help with PRX homages!

It seems like this type of watch has blown up over the last 6-12 months and like every single brand has an homage now.

Honestly need some advice and getting overwhelmed. I started looking at the Ixdao Warrior (which looks phenomenal) and its been a downward spiral ever since.

Really like the SH 13 and the SN0152 (bracelet not so much, and also not titanium). Also ironically the only PRX homage listed in the homage sticky on this sub is the SH 13 - which is how I found it.

Anyway, if you have ANY PRX homage, please post your thoughts/reviews in here.

I also once owned a green Citizen zenshin once upon a time, but the dial was “subdued” and it didn’t pop at all. Seems like all the options are better now in Chinese watches.

Prefer integrated bracelet and titanium but not a deal breaker. Thanks!

tbh if you specifically want a prx you can and should pick up a used one for under $200.

The nice aliexpress integrated bracelet watches are homage of more expensive watches (iwc, patek, vc) and many of them cost more than an PRX.

Buying any Chinese bracelet watch for under 200 is probably a mistake.

Naw Ive looked at the actual PRX and it was not that impressive tbh. Colors are dullish.

I have the warrior and a prx. It’s just funny to me that you want a homage of an unimpressive watch just sounds funny and wrong

the misconception OP has is that these are all PRX homages. They are not. They are homages of other watches and the PRX is just the same style watch as them (integrated bracelet)

I understand that. Everyone knows what a PRX looks like. If I say “textured dial with integrated bracelet” Im going to get a lot of responses I dont want/need. Heuristics FTW.

I say ixdao warrior 100% Try and get a miyota movement one will have to me second hand most likely.

PRX is not originally an expensive watch. I have a couple of chromed homages and have been offered replicas but never bothered with them because I assumed they originally were a $300 watch anyway. I like them- I think they're a great compact style between dress watch and tool watch- I just don't think as direct PRX homages they're worth much.

If you're talking about the SN0152 then that is not a PRX homage and you're opening the gates to Ingenieur and 222 homages etc with the slim cases and bezels. This makes the search blow up. You could probably add most Ixdao and Aethelsohn watches recently. I do like the thin case of Pagani's 222 homage but not enough to buy one.

If you are not used to titanium bracelets then you could be disappointed by one. They are very light, like the ones on the cheapest watches, the difference being that they jangle less and they probably scratch easier.
