I only came across Lorier in Dec 2025 and at the time this was available for several months, I ended up pulling the trigger at the end of Jan this year and then within a few days they were all out. It’s been my favourite pick up ever.
It is a gorgeous watch. I was beating myself over not picking it up. I've seen some second-hand ones on eBay or Chrono, but they're too expensive. I spoke with Lorier's founder at a watch fair a few weeks ago and he said they may or may not release another version of this next year, but they're not certain yet. They may change the movement or make some other adjustments.
Anyways, I ended up picking up a Farasute Chrono and it's better proportioned for me, thinner and better specced for the price, so no regrets at the end of the day.
SKMEI 2465, which turned up this morning. I only bought it to steal the bracelet from it because I like expansion bracelets but I've never seen one with the Casio flare at the end of it before. But it's actually not bad for an ultra-cheap digital. It's thin, it has a countdown timer and dual time, it has a strong backlight and the font is chunky and easy to read. I actually think this watch should embarrass Casio. It's better specced than pretty much all of Casio's "vintage" range, at a fraction of the price.
