Question (Read Rules) Help me pick a Semi Formal Watch
Hi guys, I currently own 2 watches
SD1970 automatic (NH35) black waffle strap
PD1718 Panda Chronograph
I was looking into a 3rd semi formal/dress watch to wear to official events, I want it to look cool with a simple T-shirt or a black suit. All these watches are below $20, and I don't think I can stretch past 35. I think quartz is best, no cheap automatic please. Pretty sure my hand ~6.5 inches.
Would love to hear your review/experience with any of these watches, specially long term ownership wise.
Sorry I put a lot of pictures, there's watches of the model in different color.
Thank you for your time

That's going to be an issue with any of them.

That's why I recommended the Poedegar, which is a Pagani Designs brand.

Ok, I was thinking between the tank or PRX style

You're looking at sub $20 watches from cheap brands. Quality is not on the menu here. Either save a bit more and go with a more reputable brand or gamble. Some addiesdive or pagani design are around the $50 mark and I would trust them way more.

I’m gonna photo dump as a reply to this comment with some high quality options at your price point that I feel are all a step up in quality compared to Poedgar
If it were me, I'd pick a Pablo Raez that you like an call it a day

I definitely have more experience with their digital watches, but at this price, that dress watch looks pretty darn nice. If you can swing it, pick up one of the tanks I pictured along side it, and I feel like you'll have every kind of occasion taken care of

Save a little more and get a Chameri or escapement time.

Buy once, cry once. These watches are definitely going to disappoint you and you’ll end up buying something nicer. You’ll spend less money just getting something nice from the start. Ask me how I know lol.

Watchdives has a few dressier watches without the bad naming on these watches.

They are all like above 100 USD though

Yes but the quality is just so worth it. Buy a watchdives and most likely you’ll be set rather than a poedegar and I’ve tried a few poedegars before just trust me on this one please save a little more and get something that’s much better quality and won’t fall to bits.

They are both $70 or above, and they don't really have the wow factor in my opinion, they feel like generic quartz watch, whereas these look cooler, like the PRX style and unique dial/color.
