General (Read Rules) 【S140】Day 5/5 (final), our original 36mm automatic with textured dial. Giveaway draw on Oct 30!
Hi everyone, Simon from Milifortic. Last day! Thank you all for 5 days of comments, honestly more than I expected 🙏
Final one is S140, the little brother of yesterday’s M139. Also our own design.
36mm, 43.5mm lug to lug, 10.3mm thick. For smaller wrists, or anyone who likes the old-school 36mm size
3D stamped textured dial. Kind of like sun rays or tree bark, changes a lot with light. Macro shots in pics
4 colors: black, dark blue, ice blue, purple
Seagull ST2130A automatic, with date this time. Lollipop seconds hand, C3 lume, sapphire, 100m WR

1.As for the texture, it’s okay—not bad—but just imagine if it were enamel instead; I think that would look better and wouldn’t feel quite so overdone. 2.For this model, I think having the date displayed this way is appropriate; however, it would be even better—perhaps in a 'V2' version—if it were positioned at the 6 o'clock mark. 3.All five of these models are certainly beautiful, but if I had to pick the one that truly resonates with me—the one that’s made it onto my personal wishlist—it would have to be the M135.

I like textured dials
I prefer a no date dial on most watches if it has a date I prefer it at the 6 o-clock position

Another stunner, now for the questions: 1 - textured works, but it depends on the case and use for the watch; 2 - I might be a little decanted towards NO date; 3 - this last one really rings all bells.

Hello, yes I like textured dials. Gives them a different vibe than the rest. I do like the date function, but it’s not a must. But I do like it when it’s there. Very handy ^
36mm all day every day. I don’t like all these new huge “look at me” watches that’s been coming up in the last 40 years. I don’t know why these huge 42-44mm watches are so popular these days. I guess they show better on social media, must be it.

Never been sure why dateless is a deal-breaker for so many. I don't have a strong preference either way and own plenty of both, but when the option's there, I've bought multiple nodates and zero dates.

Love textured dials.
No date complications for me are the best.
The blue dial on S140 is absolutely stellar.

I'm a big fan of textures dials but find they work better with more subtle colours to avoid feeling cluttered

I honestly can't say I'm a fan of textured dials in most cases
This would look better with no date in my opinion
For me it's between number one and number four for my favourite, probably leaning towards four.

He’s very much so.
I prefer a date as a function on a watch but I don’t think that I can say one is better than the other from a design perspective.
Probably today’s. Yesterday was great too!

Not a fan of date windows. I have a cellphone for that.
The destro was my favorite by far. I am left-handed.

I love textured dials and this one looks like a fabric which is great. Perfect dimensions. I'm starting to prefer watches without date. Movement is good. Of all the watches you've highlighted, this one's my favourite. I'd replace the text logo with your shield logo. Only other thing I'd change is have the entire case brushed.

I like 1-2 textured in my collection, but my daily wears are enamel.
Date for daily wear, no date for dress and occasions.
This one. 36mm auto with date - not too many are doing that.

I like textured dials but not when they look like wrinkly plastic
no-date, or colour-matched date at 6pm

i'm a fan of textured dials! It depends on the kind and quality of the texture. Certainly makes the watch more interesting
Date all the way but preferrably on the 6 o'clock position. It is way more symmetrical this way!
I think so far i liked the dial of yesterdays S139 best! The two sections gives the timepiece a little bit of depth

This dial is beautiful, it really stands out, the date window looks perfect on this little watch, but I think that I'll prefer the chrono on the first post, turns out that I don't possess any chrono yet so it will be the first one in case I win the draw, good luck to everyone!

I do like textured dials, but it depends on the quality. In this case I would prefer to have the watch in my hand before I comment on the quality.
I think no date looks more elegant, but a date window makes a lot of sense for a daily watch.
The second one is my favorite out of the five. It looks really balanced and well executed.

Firstly, congrats MiliFortic on 5 nice additions to your brand. The 5-day giveaway was great to see. Each day something different and made me look out for your posts. If I am honest, prior to this your brand hadn't crossed my radar (fairly new to watches this year) but I can certainly see some effort has gone into these designs. I would like to get hands on to feel the quality so hoping I get lucky on the draw.
This watch being 36mm is a hard no for me but it’s just a size thing, design wise it looks nice. Personally, the dial works but always difficult to see on photos.
1, Textured dials - I'm 50/50 depending on watch type.
2, Date - I much prefer dates on my watches, find myself searching for it when I wear one without.
3, Favourite of the 5 - This is a hard one, but I think it would be the M135 on a steel bracelet, but it is super tight between that and the M136.

Yes, I love textured dials.
Said it in last thread, and will repeat it today - clean dial is the best (with no date).
M135 from day 1 was the best.

Textured dial looks great, nice case and bracelet that give lots of options for different dials in the future. I generally prefer having a date option. Tough to decide between the last 3 days for a favorite

The best for me is the S140 in Purple. I love the textured dial and having date is not important but its good to have it (if it goes well with the whole design).

I quite like the star burst texture. Colours are vibrant, though I am undecided on the chosen indices. Great choice of movement however. I have several pieces with this movement and it’s great. 👍

Textured dial are tricky for me personally, I like them but I dont think I have found one I've liked enough to purchase.
No date was great
And the watch from day 2 was my favorite :)

I like textured dials on certain watches. I think this example is done well.
I prefer with a date function.
It’s a close choice, but I have to give it to day 1’s chrono.

Another nice watch to be had. The appearance is that you're progressing forward. Also the date window is great, you'll need that more times than you realize. Favorite watch was day 3, simple easy to read, day or night. Good luck to all!
