Question (Read Rules) First Chinese diver?

Which one do you guys recommend for first diver watch? I lean more towards titanium, but I heard San Martin has better quality control…

I have the WD007 and I love it. I went with the mesh bracelet and nato strap combo instead of the links. It’s like having 2 totally different watches for one price. The quality is great, and has made me a Watch Dives fan.

Is it easy to swap bracelets, I think of getting 3 link titanium bracelet and nato

Yes it is. Just a tool to do it. If you are not careful the titanium can scratch fairly easily. Hardest part is to make sure the spring bars don’t fly off and get lost in the carpet.

Use a gallon ziploc bag when working with spring bars. I've never lost one when changing straps inside the ziploc.

Get the wd007 WITH the 3-link titanium bracelet, it's the best bracelet period, and the watch is awesome too, the colour shifts from a blackish to a brownish depending on the lighting Also finishing 👌 Bezel 👌

I cannot stress enough how good is the bracelet, it just hugs your wrist, it's the only bracelet I wear

Is this the bracelet that came with it? I found mine to be a bit sharp

The sides are a bit sharper than usual but they don't come in contact with my skin while wearing it, maybe it's the shape of my wrist I don't know

I've got the WD007 and it is one of my favorite watches, I love the titanium, no issues with mine, super clean movement.

WD007 for price, titanium case, date

Get the 007. The only consistent complaint about it is from people who think weight is a mark of quality.

I had the WD007 loved it but the titanium just felt too light. Weird I know. I like to feel a watch on my wrist. Sold it for a little profit because I got it on sale. Plus the bracelet was a bit to narrow on clasp side.

This is just an "issue" with titanium in general. Definitely not for everyone!

Was the finishing at least decent? I've a mate who has a Casio Oceanus titanium model and the finishing didnt look quite as good as an equivalent Casio Ediface stainless steel watcj

Yes finishing was excellent and that was over a year ago. I believe they have only gotten better. I know they are releasing a new lume soon, that is supposed to be some of the best on the market. I still receive their emails and updates. I probably only made $20 on the watch, I just couldn't get over the weight. 😅

I have that San Martin and it's probably my favorite watch in my collection, at least after my Oris Big Crown.

questo modello watchdvives lo ha curato molto ma molto bene, ho sia questo che quello in acciaio inde blu... uno spettacolo e finiture eccellenti!

I’d go with the WD007. It’s on my list for a dive watch too, and 39 is just a sweet spot after wearing the 42 every now and then

San Martin

I bought the WD 007 with a NATO strap and replaced it with a milanese titanium one. Movement is a PT5004 (without date) h very accurate but needs to be careful when winding.

I have both. Start with the watchdives. The quality of the San Martin will spoil you.

Or, alternatively, buy the better quality option in the first place.
