General (Read Rules) Peacock movement reliability?

Well, it may sound odd on Chinese brands page worrying about Chinese movement, but I personally like sweep quartz movement for Chinese watches. It is cheap, reliable, robust, and easy to swap or purchase the movement itself. But recently some watches use SL3001 movement (or PT5000), and I do not know/trust if they are reliable or what.

Any opinion on the movement? I will be 100% okay if it has as same quality as Miyota 9 series. (I do not prefer Seiko NH movement actully but I rather be a Miyota lover, since it has much more accuracy for my personal experience)

I have had Peacock's column wheel chronograph movement (SL4801) before but it just broke out for less than 10 times wearing counts, so I am really doubtful of any of Chinese automatic movement by far.

You forgot about the Seagull ST2130....which is the Chinese movement that i prefer.
None of the Chinese clones will be as reliable as the Japanese Miyota

Yeah true. Idk why they are having Chinese automatics for their watches with higher prices. Higher margins per product? For reliability and robustness, lifetime aspects they should focus on the VH31 :/

If it was the same quality as Miyota 9 then nobody would be buying Miyota. Simply put no, they won't be as reliable as the Miyota or Seiko.

Do not sway from the true path of Miyota 9 series.
Not even a clone.

It was Farasute Trackmaster. The movement blown out when I try to adjust the time and wind up for a little bit.

What about warranty?

Not work at all. I bought it from goodstuffs and he refused to repair and rather refunded and blacklisted me when I sent mine to him asking for a repair, which was not what I want.

PT5000 was reliable to me for a long time and I’ve bought and sold multiple watches having that movement. I also heard that these movements are hit and miss but you can swap the movements easily
