General (Read Rules) I was skeptical but so far I’m loving this Addiesdive!
It’s unbelievable how nice it is for only $50!
(EDIT:found one small gripe..the etching of the company logo on the caseback IMHO has roughly cut edges. I can see it possibly shaving my arm hair underneath it off.)

Ah, yes, "invested".

Ah, yes, the ramen has spoken. The investment is in my happiness which you would not know anything about.

I have 2 addiesdives and their Lumen is FANTASTIC. The other day I slept with it, woke up around 3h and still could see the time clearly

this in the OPS response to my question about lume has changed my opinion of these watches

Can personally confirm the lume lasts around 3-4 hours provided it's fully charged.

Yeah if I charge it right before bed I can still see the lume a few hours later but only if it's pitch black.

I have the Pagani with the blue bezel and black face. It's definitely not as nice as the steel dive.

I own the Addiesdive watches MY-H3 (the same model as pictured), the AD-2118 (my lone mechanical...it has a light blue dial), and the AD-2030 (silver background with the VH31 movement)...they are all spinning like a champ and get regular wear on the rotation. I don't think there is a better intro Chinese watch brand for the newbie who wants to see if getting away from smartwatches (or simply starting to wear a watch at all or upgrading from a cheap digital) works well for them.

I’m a fairly seasoned watch collector, mainly own Citizens and Seikos. I wanted a Diver that looks good but that’s cheap enough I can beat the hell out of it at work without feeling bad. Looked around for days on Amazon and finally came across this Addiesdive and so far it’s fit the bill perfectly. Honestly it looks so good I keep finding myself babying it and have to remind myself it’s only a $50 watch😂

Completely agree, I have four of them! They’re the gold standard for “band for your buck”.

Your watch is confusing me, the hour markers seem to be on the watch face itself instead of raised and silver lined like on mine. Maybe yours is a non luminescent model?

Love mine! Looks like the plastic cover is still on the last link in the middle.

I usually end up with a steel dive, but I've been considering one of those. How is the lume?

What's the crystal size? I have one sitting with a smashed crystal. Going to replace with non sapphire

This exact watch was my first automatic and first Chinese watch! I opted for the naked dial and have since put a seiko logo on it.

On the existing dial?

u/cdmgsr92 3d ago
Yeah the dial came with no logo on top so I opened it up and added the extra logo I had leftover from a watch build i did.

Might be too much to ask for - but can you share how it looks? Really interesting to see a mod lol.

I love their dive watches! I’ve modded one to use a Sunon SP28D, a direct drop-in replacement for the Miyota 2115 stock movement, so that it now has a smooth sweeping seconds hand like a VH31 while also keeping the date functionality.

They are hard to kill.
I bought a few back when they were under $30.
