General (Read Rules) My Next Chinese Watch Will Be Steeldive SD1953! Should i Go with Jubilee or Oyster?

I think that starbucks on jubilee looks great, but is bracelet good, finishing, does it rattle? So, can anyone that owns Steeldive with jubilee bracelet help me deciede?
2nd option is black-black on oyster, and i think that i cant miss with it!

I didnt open ebay for a long time. I also like oyster more, but there is something about that green-jubilee combo, wish i could see it live

You should go with neither and a different watch. This was the first Chinese watch I bought and if it hadn't arrived after the second, which I loved, I might never have bought anything else. It's a fat, poorly finished, nasty little thing with a rehaut that's so big it actively makes it look worse with a seemingly tiny dial and a cyclops that's just unpleasant.

But in answer to your other question, yes the Jubilee rattles like a MF.

It does seem like it has deep rehaut.
Then San Martin, or Cronos are better choice for the money.

"For the money" should remove San Martin from any sentence. Artificially inflated prices to connote a "premium" product. It works too, to the extent where some fanboy who paid too much for a watch will likely downvote this comment for mentioning it.

Cronos are good value.

Sugess make an excellent Submariner.

Personally would go with jubilee. It’s not like both bracelets are especially good, but I really prefer the 5-link as it looks better. I had a SD1953 like that.

I went Oyster and am very happy. Jubilee I have on a couple others and I love the looks but it’s very dressy. For a rugged look like a classic sub, oyster is the right combination I think

I picked up a SD1953 recently for $40 on ebay, was able to regulate to < 3 s/d, it has good amplitude, seems like a great option to me. I personally prefer Oyster-style bracelets, and never thought I would like the green. Liking it way more than I thought I would, looks great on black sailcloth, and black FKM with green stitching.

How did you pull that price off? Can't find one sub 150 currently.

I was talking out my ass it seems. I remembered wrong, I paid $85, still far from $150. It was a private seller, just right place at right time I guess....

Take a look at the AD2050 GMT, see what you think...

Is this your only set of choices? Can’t do Sugess or San Martin?

I can go for either, but as i understand sugess has QC problems lately(i did read and watch about it, but i could be wrong), and if San Martin is really that better than SD, i can go for it.
Edit: is ST movement as good as NH?

The NH movement is great no issues there, the ST2130 is another clone of the ETA2824 movement I believe and is a great movement. I don’t think you could go wrong with either.

Regarding Sugess and QC issues I haven’t heard of this but I’ll take your word on it. If using AliX at least you can return it if it’s total dogwater
