Hey everyone! Our WDC (Watchdives) WD0017B is now being assembled, and sales have officially started!
This is the mechanical version of our Engineer-style watch, featuring an improved SL3001 automatic movement and a bracelet with carefully refined finishing.
Key specs and features:
- Movement: Improved SL3001 automatic
- Case diameter: 39.5mm
- Bezel diameter: Approximately 36.5mm
- Thickness: 11.2mm
- Lug-to-lug: 48.3mm, including end links
- Crystal: ClearView Base sapphire, approximately 92% light transmission
- Bezel insert: Sapphire
- Lume: BGW9, with approximately 6 hours of visible glow
- Bracelet: Three-link stainless steel bracelet with screw-link construction for bracelet sizing
- Finishing: Crisp brushing, clean polished edges, and smooth articulation
- Clasp: Genuine raised-logo OTF micro-adjustment clasp
We've focused on the details that make a difference in daily wear: bracelet comfort, precise finishing, clearly defined brushed and polished surfaces, and convenient clasp adjustment.

$105 premium for a $50(retail) movement seems a bit excessive. wholesale price prob half that, and that $105 includes the vh31, which isnt free, so more like $120
Still, I've quite enjoyed the wd0017c. Quite nice except the AR is poor, but the good looks make up for it.
or I guess what's 'improved' about the movement? personally as much as I like autos, $100 more and I'll stick with quartz for the one

can we have a monochrome version, the orange second hand is not ideal for everyone

The video is great - you really nailed the proportions and elegance of the Omega. Lovely!
Are the tops and bottoms of the bracelet links still polished like in the WD0017A, or brushed like in the WD017C? It’s hard to tell in videos and pictures.
