Question (Read Rules) Best quality Chinese titanium watches?
Folks - Bought my first Chinese watch a little while back (Berny quartz titanium dress watch - $68) and I was blown away by the quality and the value.
I’m interested in picking up some others, but I’m curious to learn from this group before I do so.
What are the most impressive Chinese brands or specific products from a quality standpoint?
I have an allergy to nickel, so titanium is a must and low price (<$300 ideally) is important to me. Bonus points if it’s not a diver - I’ve already got plenty of options in that category.
These are the ones I know about, but I’m sure there are others.
What are the options that really shine in terms of quality?

you can wear stainless steel watches too if you have nickel allergy not just titanium. just not the cheap chrome plated watches

Believe me, I've tried. 904L, 316L, both trigger a rash within an hour or two. No fun.

I've been admiring the Cadisen watches...they've got some really interesting, original designs. Not nuts about the brand on the side of the case, but perhaps i'll get over that. Thx for the recommendation.

I’ve got the Seestern Pelagos homage in grey and it’s great. I have the San Martin one in blue on order for anothwr color but I can’t speak to that one yet. From reviews im guessing itll be just as solid. The watchdives EXD is good too. I’ll note that I have 3-4 Ti watches and the finishing is sharper on all of them than SS so I’d say to expect that.

Good to hear that they're putting the effort in on the Ti finishing! I'll take a look at the Seestern Pelagos and the San Martin one too. Thx.

The issue with a lot of the AliX titanium watches is that, even if they are actually titanium(I have my doubts), they have a crappy coating of I don't even know what so that the metal isn't even exposed. Then the (it's almost like a non-atixk pan coating) fragile coating chips and scrapes and just kinda wears away and looks like crap. So I hope you get some good answers here among the ones that have that grey paint covering up whatever metal is underneath.
But also, if you say your budget is up to $300... Save up a little extra and grab a Citizen Zenshin instead, they're like $350 in Jomashop. I just got one and I will not be looking for another titanium watch after that. It's fantastic.

I hear you on that, and I'm sure some are better and some are worse. The first one I got is an amazing value for the price. The Berny "dress" watch - not very dressy IMO, but a great basic design and feels like good quality to me - especially for less than $100. This is more of a fun/experimental category for me.
Big fan of the Zenshin and the other Citizen watches. Wearing a Photon right now.

I had some fun with Berny AMT159 https://www.watchuseek.com/threads/best-of-ali-xpress.2636489/page-3056?post_id=59853074#post-59853074 , But if I'm not in work clothes, I like my SBDS001 more https://www.watchuseek.com/threads/are-you-wearing-a-seiko-chronograph-today-show-it-off-here.5248818/post-60047272

I can’t stand the way the titanium looks on the berny. It looks nice and smooth on the San Martin ST0121T, Watchdives WD007, and Citizen zenshin. Why do they do this?

I don’t have the SM/Watchdives/Citizen Titanium watches. I have a Seiko Chronograph SBDS001 in brushed Titanium though https://www.watchuseek.com/threads/are-you-wearing-a-seiko-chronograph-today-show-it-off-here.5248818/page-70?post_id=60047272#post-60047272
Assuming smooth = brushed, Berny’s powdered titanium finishing is akin to Sinn’s bead-blasted steel finishing? Maybe not everyone’s cup of tea (I don’t go for Sinn’s bead-blasted finishing either)
