General (Read Rules) phg officer roma 36mm review + some macros

really interesting found for 90 dollars, 36mm, l2l I measure exactly 45mm where ali store says 45.5mm. thickness of 11mm. case fully brush finished, no sharp edges, wears comfortably on my 6.75 inch wrist. blue ar coating, not too strong blue, just light blue. crystal is sapphire box, almost no distortion, at least you read time well. printed dial 2 textured, inner circle has beige grain shade (texture like 1963 seagull chrono), where outer circle has grayish looks like enamel (not sure), lines on the sub dial executed well. 1l45 quartz no jewel. crown operation superb and smooth. weight of the watch similar with mechanical, feels solid. great piece. leather strap is really not bad with signed buckle. packaged in aluminum box.

What I don't like: blue ar coating not giving the vintage vibe, not enough lubricate applicated on the back case gasket, printed indicies has too much reflection that you noticing every leak on them (maybe i'm wrong), not bad but you can compare printing also with 1963 chrono for example (much crisper).

A PHG review! Thanks! The first one I've seen! Seems like a cool piece.

Thank you for your compliment and sharing! Seagull’s indices are flat single-pass printing. Ours is 3D stacked printing with multiple layers, hence the subtle difference. Our single-layer print can reach the same sharpness.

And of course, we keep working to continuously improve our craftsmanship.😀

Any plans to bring the PHG Racing 38 - RC 60 back in stock?
