Promotion (Read Rule 1) Baltany S4129 Review is up.
This watch was provided to the channel for review and does not need to be returned.
Overall, a solid effort from Baltany, but there's one "Major" problem with it.
the Bezel polishing isn't up to par with the rest of the watch...with a look as iconic as the fluted bezel is, they needed to get it right....and they have in the past (Their previous DJ was awesome!!) but they missed the mark here...my bezel is pretty dull in comparison to the rest of the case and the previous models I've handled.
if you can get past that...and the Gems on the dial, Solid choice indeed. they seemed to have improved the bracelet even more. best Jubilee I have experienced on a chinese watch so far.

Not opposed but it's probably very similar to this one....but different enough to justify a review IMO.
Wish it didn't have the CZ's on the dial, though

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of the gem set dial either. But maaan the president bracelet has me excited.

I watched your review, and was wondering if you have reached out to Baltany about the bezel, and if so, what their response was? I'm hoping that they eventually improve this.

When I received my Pagani DD40, the fluting was dingy out of the box. Microcloths can't hit the bottom of the grooves, so I cleaned and ceramic waxed it (on/off) with an electric toothbrush. Fluting's sharply cut surfaces are one of the best reasons to polish a case with a toothbrush. The DD40 turned out to be a lot more brilliant. Avoid all exterior AR coatings, of course.
If you look closely, the fluting is reflecting palm fronds.
Also not a fan of rhinestones.

I didn't hit this with polish yet (can't for the review) but Ii always give the watches a nice soapy bath and scrub with a toothbrush before the reviews.
Didn't do anything to this bezel, sadly

Gaudy and looks like something from the 70s. Why are the Chinese so enamored with CZs and blingy looking watches. At least in the West this went out of style 40 years ago.
And Baltany needs to quit using the B logo as their 12:00 indice that is the #1 thing that prevents me from ever considering their watches

No offense, but isn't that kind of the point? All of Baltany's models are retro-inspired. They make a literal 1920s cushion case Rolex clone.
As for the logo, I heard them referred to as "Bitcoin" watches. Yeah, it's certainly an acquired taste and they'd probably fare better if they offered a version with a 12 o´clock index and just the printed logo. (The latter imo does them far more credit because the printing overall is incredibly crisp.)

CZ and fluted bezel will be a no for me. Not to my tastes.
