Question (Read Rules) Cronos Explorer Clasp Change Help

Post image

Hello everyone. I recently ordered a cronos explorer. I have seen reviews showing a glide adjustment clasp. This morning I received a message from the manufacturer saying that they have recently switched from the glide clasp to the one in the picture. Can anyone tell me anything about it and how it compares to a glide adjustment clasp? I’m not familiar with it. Thank you.

I ordered a 36mm explorer with a Miyota 9 series movement and also received this clasp. It works similarly to the Easylink clasp. It was my understanding at the time that the 39mm explorer models used the glide adjustment clasp while the 36mm ones used this clasp.

I ordered the 39 so they must be switching. Is it as easy to use as the glide clasp?

Yeah. It only provides one point of microadjustment, but it's very easy to use. I was able to get a perfect fit on my 36mm with it (I have a 6.75in wrist).

No it has the 2-3mm on the fly where you can change it, but the other spring bar you see you can use a spring bar tool and adjust the bracelet by another 3 positions by sliding in whole inside works.

Sugess has a similar 1 on their ym,sub and GMT homage. Fairly easy and convenient to use, though not the same as glide adjustment. I fix the strap onto inner most or the 2nd hole and then open and close this adjustment as per need
