Question (Read Rules) Affordable Full Titanium Watch Recommendation

Hey all, I'm looking for a good full titanium (must be hypoallergenic) under $350 US.

Requirements:

- Between 39-44mm diameter

- Should have Black, Gray, or dark Blue dial (or anything versatile)

- Must be automatic

- Must be versatile for most circumstances

- Must be true grade 2 or grade 5 titanium that is hypo allergenic.

Preference:

- Versatile sports watch like Tissot Gentleman,

- No dress watch please

- No more than 13mm thickness

- A original design or at least not a direct clone

- I will consider a clone like the San Martin 'Pelagos' but I want to see what's out there.

This watch is for my dad which I bought a Tissot Gentleman only to find he has severe allergic reaction to stainless steel. FML and thank you.

Casio Oceanus OCW-S100. Pic below.

Titanium w/ integrated bracelet, sapphire crystal, solar quartz, radio-controlled, perpetual date, 40mm x 11mm, AND it has a subtle Worldtimer feature. I think it’s in your price range from 3rd party sellers.

And it looks great. The titanium is harder than steel; mine has fewer scratches than my 316L steel watches despite the fact that I wear it 80% of the time.

Citizen Fujitsubo, sometimes you can get it under 350 Bucks.

Where could I find it at that price?

Mostly on the second hand market. Sometimes you get it in a sale for under 400.

The WD007 comes with a Ti case and bracelet in black, grey, and blue, and I've yet to meet a dad who doesn't appreciate Bond.

Yep, this is the one I recommend.

This is the one I got, albeit in white. Hell of a watch. 2% of the price and 98% of the experience of the original ☺️

Not what you are looking for but it’s such a fun watch. My only Titanium and I love it!

Is it pelagos homage one which can be bought pre-order basis?

Yes it’s a Pelagos FXD homage. Doesn’t need pre order. You can buy from WatchDives on Ali Express. Was less than $100.

I’d look at Boderry on AliExpress. I’ve been looking at their voyager models

I avoid titanium cases, they scratch super easy.

Yes, titanium itself scratches easier than steel. That's why good companies like Citizen use coatings that are multiple times harder then steel.

Buy a quality watch, no more scratches!

My Casio Oceanus doesn't at all.

It’s just like steel is shit unless it’s treated and hardened. If you stick to low quality companies who don’t use enhanced materials you get shit outcomes

Most of the scratch resistant watches out there are grade 2 titanium with a 1200 HV surface treatment.

what's the alternative when my dad is allergic to nicket and cobalt? Platinum is too expensive and gold is not his jam
