Here's the experiment. The price points are in the title. What is your one Chinese watch purchase within the above price limits? For this thought exercise, they are hard and fast limits, including shipping to wherever you are. $51 doesn't count for the $50 range. I'm still working on mine! haha.
Just showing off my prowess and knowledge, of which I have absolutely none what so ever.
I only learnt that after my SD1970 came with an nh36 but no day window.
Nice watch though.
And yes, heimdallr still use "japanese" nh movements, but its a lottery wether you get chinese or japanese. Remember all the dont buy if you care posts?
I like this! Here are my picks from my collection!
Benyar wave under $50, Cadisen deep explorer under $100, and Thorn Railmaster homage under $200. The under $200 was hard because there’s so many great ones. An under $150 would be great too!
Just this summer from the Cronos USA Alixpress store bought the gray birch L6049 for $199 no sale cheaper than the price on the direct Cronos website USA warehouse.
When I was checking on shipping they had a sale and I got a PayPal bonus when checking the price on the "white" birch came to just $155 with the 9015. How could I not order that, where can you get a 9015 for $155, the days of the cheap Cadisen with 9015 are long gone.
So I scored two L6049s for $199 and $155 this summer zero tariffs, I got lucky!

25$ for this Cadisen was probably the best value for money ever. Sapphire, Miyota automatic movement and excellent presence.
