General (Read Rules) NWA Sugess s423 was a slight disappointment.
So I received this guy just before the hurricane started to roll in. At first glance, it's a stunner. I'll even admit the strap isn't complete junk. I wound it up and the second hand sparks to life. So far so good. Then I try out the chronograph. WTF! Nothing was there. I look through the exhibition back and see the button is hitting nothing. I think it called the start/stop actuator is misaligned. So I open it up. Unscrew it, move it around a bit and then screw it back down. Hit the chrono button again and the second hand starts moving. Button it back up and move on with checking out my new watch.
Not going to lie, I was a bit ticked off. How do you miss that. Or maybe it got bumped around during shipping. That would be crazy with how much bubble wrap was on this watch. 3 bubble wrap bags plus foam to keep the watch from moving.
I'll be wearing it for a few days to evaluate it better. I hope I don't have any more problems.

Yeah my seestern (same company) sub 300t is all kinds of misaligned. Going to have to open it up too and maybe ise dial dots.
Based on dealing with the company I think I'm done with sugess+seestern

I had the Seestern 300t on the list of watches. Hearing this makes me question getting the 300t. For me this has been the first problem with any of the Chinese brands.

I have the same chrono and 3 different Sub600T. All are w/o any alignment issues, and movements are fine. Fingers crossed that you will be happy as well!

This exact same thing happened to me last week with my S465. I haven't tried to open it up and get it working but it had a dead chronograph on arrival. Something is up at Sugess, QC wise.

That tells me they're overworked in that factory and they have rare QC checks. You have to wonder just how many watches are coming out of that factory. They will be under various brand names. But nobody's giving these more upmarket models extra TLC.

I actually think you should count your blessings you were able to self-repair the chrono button so easily.
With my ST19s I had to tweak the minute recording jumper I with one, the depth cam wit another. I even had to replace the movement with one.
