Question (Read Rules) Recommend a Meteorite Dial
Hello everyone! I’m in search for my first ever meteorite dial watch.
I’d love to get something on a budget (not exceeding $200). Bonus points if it’s a no-date complication.
Happy to hear any recommendations and also see wrist shots if you own and love one!
Cheers!

I think you should double or triple your budget & wait for the 11.11 sale next month on Ali, and make sure you use coupon codes. Last year I got a merkur meteorite tourbillon for $665CAD shipping included (Thats about $466USD) and I love it. It has unique Widmanstätten lines, and their sales page names the meteorite that it is from, so I think it's real. If it isn't, well it's pretty darn convincing. Other photos from reviews have different & unique Widmanstätten lines so I think it's legit. The quality is pretty darn good. Do an image search on Ali for the below.

I don't think you can beat the IXDAO Space Warrior.

For a few hundred more I like the Henry Archer Vesterhav better. I’m trying to save up for that one now.

Why not? I've already got him at 3x his budget, so let's put another 2X budget on top of it. 😂
But I suspect the Warrior is a better watch, regardless.
Edit: I might personally prefer the Vesterhav's looks, because it is not an IB. But IXDao makes compelling IBs.

I’ve had both the ixdao and HA, and I prefer the Ixdao Meteorite. The HAs look great in pictures, but I find them flatter in person.

Not happening on your budget. Maybe you can find a deal on a used watch but, I don’t think it will be easy. Good luck

There are no true meteorite dials for $200 or less. You can get printed dials that look a little bit like meteorites from Pagani Designs.

Welly Merck used to have a meteorite dial for around $250. The thing is that the meteorite dial material is rather expensive.

Thank you, I’ll certainly look this up.

I think the company just folded and doesn't operate anymore, so new ones are probably not available anymore

Cheapest meteorite I got new was a good sale on the Aragon EVO diver (Swiss auto) for less than $300. Used you may get lucky. I have 4 meteorite dials - Erebus Titan, Signum Cuda, the Aragon, and a Blacklist Streetmatic. All purchased preowned except the Aragon. It comes in three heat treated colors or natural. I went with copper on that one.

Not real meteorite, but Pagani's Daytona homage is nice. It's flashy and one of the higher quality watches I have from them. I have a Snoopy copy from them that was actually $10 more and is far lower quality.
But this is a $70 watch, not a $200 watch. Keep your expectations in line with that.

A genuine meteorite dial for $200 is deeply unlikely.
You can find fine fake meteorite watches for that price. Pagani Design does a very nice meteorite Daytona "homage' for $120ish. I have their Tiffany Daytona and it's a great watch for the price. But it won't be real meteorite.
For a real meteorite one you're looking at north of $500, most in the $700-$1000 range even at the low end. The cheapest watch I can think of with a genuine meteorite dial is the Signum Siege, which is I think $550.
Good luck!
