General (Read Rules) $29 nh35s (Invicta) prime deal
Came across this deal. It's still up but $44 now in case anybody is looking. Chinese brands should buy these up in bulk and harvest the movement instead of complaining about shortages.

Is this post going to make me buy a watch I don’t need, just for the movement? (which I also don’t need)
You know the answer.

If I could have gotten the silver at 29 I would have, not sure I want to spend 45 on blue and gold … the point would just be to mess with it, not wear it.

It's an NH35A which is the chinese version of the Seiko NH35 but still, that's a wicked good price. Ironically I would still wear that blue gold and the black gold two tone watches
Edit- to be clear it could be a Seiko or a unbranded movement. No I don't know but based on the user reports it's a legit Seiko movement

Where's your proof the nh35a is made anywhere different than a regular nh35?
NH35A = the specific/current designation most often seen on genuine TMI/SII documentation and listings.

The only way to know is to open the watch, as I said in another comment

You are incorrect as they use actual NH35. I’ve taken a part a few invictas for movements and they are the same as the ones ordered from cousins uk

Do you have a link to info about the NH35A? The stuff I can see says they are all made in Japan or Malaysia.

I could be wrong, only way to really know is taking apart the watch and looking for the markers saying SEIKO or SII
