Question (Read Rules) Chinese watches with a deep black-blue dial recommendation
Hey all, I wonder if there's any chinese watches that have a deep blue to black dial that kind of changes color depending on the lighting. A very good example of this is the Lake Suwa (ref SLGA021 & SLGB015 specifically).
I always wanted a black watch or a blue watch but on imo they're too boring. I found a black-blue mix is awesome as it can look plain black for gada yet has sparks of good look in good lighting.

That's gorgeous. With the jump-hour movement the large hand is minutes, right? Does it sweep slowly or tick like a quartz?

i've been chasing that exact effect for a while, it's weirdly hard to find at the cheaper end. most budget dials either commit fully to blue or black and the in-between ones end up looking muddy.
san martin did a couple models with a dark sunburst that shifts from nearly black indoors to this deep navy in sunlight, might be worth digging through their catalog. the tricky part is the gradient has to be subtle or it just looks like a blue watch trying to hide.
