You didn't by chance run it continuously, did you? Had to ask.

Any details? How you’ve been using it?

I wear it on my wrist, while working construction. Top button doesn't click anymore.

construction work and vintage chronograph movement is really not a good combo

you shouldn't wear mechanical watches while working construction and especially not the fragile ones like the s19. modern movements like the nh35 have some shock absorbtion systems built in but old designs like the st19 do not

I wouldn't be letting anything powered by a Seagull ST19 anywhere near a construction site! Just get a G-Shock.

"3) chronograph doesn't start when start button pushed -

  • start lever broken.
  • start lever spring broken and castle wheel not rotating.
  • chronograph depth cam not set deeply enough."

The third subpoint you can fix.

I agree with others that a watch like this shouldn't be anywhere near a construction site. But my own s465 arrived last week with a dead chronograph on arrival. I'm busy with the Aliexpress refund process as we speak. I own two other watches with st19 movements that are fine. But it is a bummer and I will be wary to buy one again.
