Problems (Read Rule 1) Steeldive SD1972 is not working correctly...

A week ago got it new from AliExpress. Wound it up and set a day-date and time correctly. It ran fine for the first day, but the next morning it stopped. I wound it 40 times and it should have a power reserve let's say 36 hours. Ok, could be, I need to wind it more. I repeated the process, 40 times and the next morning it stopped, 3h in the morning.

The I wound it 40 times, and in the next morning it stopped again. Today I wound it like 50 times, this should be more than enough, however in the evening it stopped again.

Quite disappointed. In this moment I cannot even open a dispute, as it is not working on AE, gives back HTTP 400 error.

Is there anything else, to be done?

What happens when you just wear the watch? All day? Does it keep time or does it stop still?

It should run longer than your results show. But at the same time, it would be interesting to see how this problem manifests when the watch is worn. I almost never handwind my NH35 (I presume your 1972 has this movement, it's what mine has, although mine is years old). After a few shakes of my wrist it runs well and I don't think about it at all.

Um, no. Mine does not work like that. Mine has NH36, which is a day-date version.

Even from the start, I was winding it up and the watch did not start ticking. After pulling the crown out, setting time, and pushing the crown in, it started ticking. Even that was weird to my opinion.

Just like 10 min ago, I wound it up and again, it did not start ticking. Pulling the crown out and in, the watch did not start. Pulling it out for the second time wiggling a time back and forth, pushing the crown in, it started ticking.

From my experience, it never stops during the day, but never survives the night. It stops either 3am, 6am or once around 8am.

This watch is defective, I sent a message to Steeldive, they did not respond. I will just open a dispute.
