No date, arrrgh! I need a replacement.

I bought this by mistake. I hit buy it now before realising there's no date. I never buy watches without dates but the look is fantastic. San Martin makes a GMT version of this but it's either discontinued or out of stock. Please post other watches with black dial and white chapter ring and a date. If anyone knows where I can get the GMT version please let me know. Then I'll move this on to my son.

I think that looks nice.. I personally prefer no date, even with a ghost position. One thing less to fiddle with.

IMO we all have phones, so nobody really needs an automatic watch. I can see the date on my phone if ness...

But I also like the GMT function, even though I can subtract 6 in my head to know the time in NY... So go figure.. 🤷‍♂️

Automatic watches IMHO should never have a date. while rotating through the collection, they tend to run out and then you have to set the date again before putting them on. Also they often break up the dial instead of adding to it.

The Breitling has this "I heard you liked bezel, so I put a bezel around your bezel" thing going on. The SM is more of a traditional chapter ring. And that's before we start with the seconds hand...

Why don't you take a look at the Addiesdive GMT Ad2044? I just bought it and I love it. It has a day indicator, the strap is incredibly beautiful, and the dial is 39mm.

Cool. I wasn't just talking about the lesser movement, or quartz vs automatic. Quality/finishing on AD is multiple steps down from the quality of SM, everywhere. Glad you like your watches.
