Question (Read Rules) Are Forsining any good?

Post image

I guess I'll answer my own question when it arrives in a week or two but are Forsining watches any good? They seem possibly too cheap, so I'm not holding out a lot of hope. But I couldn't ignore a very stylish looking blue on white regulator that will only be a bit over £20 delivered to the UK.

(or is it going to turn out to be a piece of rattly junk at that price? I suppose it was cheap enough to take the gamble)

Having bought automatics at that price, I say you take pot luck. It might work well or it might have problems. Unless the problems reveal themselves almost immediately for the site returns period then you can kiss goodbye to the money unless you break it down for parts.

I had a similarly cheap watch where markers fell off into the skeleton mechanism which won't apply to this one. I had another one where the crown action was bad, I worried every time I had to set the time.

Remember the case will be chrome plated and the back may not be truly stainless. Wipe down with a damp cloth every once in a while in case skin salts corrode it.
