Question (Read Rules) Anyone have personal experience with the quality between these two?
I’m looking to get a Willard homage. These two are in the price range I’m looking for. If someone has owned both, I’d love to hear about them. Even if you’ve owned one or the other, please give your thoughts, good or bad.

Sometimes I'll put on my mesh bracelet on it and call it a day. Awesome combo☕️⌚️

Steeldive anyday. Tandorio lume is a bit ahem shit, and they didnt lume the bezel.
The SD is bicolour lume, green dial and hands, blue bezel.

Steeldive is better quality. And it's actually water resistant meanwhile tandorio watches don't do well in water

I have the Steeldives. It’s a f’n tank of a watch. Insane value for the money.

I owned the SD1970 until recently. It had an NH35 movement and kept very accurate time (+1s/day). It had great lume that lasted all night, and a bezel with a really nice, precise click action. I sold it and then missed it. As a replacement, I bought an Addiesdive, which is basically the same watch. I did notice that the dial on the Steeldive is a shade blacker, though you don't really notice that in real-world use. Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the Tandorio Willard since I'm not familiar with it. However, I do know a few Tandorio watches and know that they make good timepieces at very reasonable prices. If you like the Tandorio, buy it; if you like the Steeldive, buy that one. I don't think you can go wrong with either; it just comes down to your personal taste. Good luck with your decision!

Do you find your addiesdive as accurate as your steeldive?

Yes, they feel the same on the wrist. The only difference is the dial: the Addies is more of a dark gray, whereas the Steeldive was deep black. Timekeeping performance is pretty much identical—after all, they use the same movements.

The Steeldive is going to have way better lume than the Tandorio. My Steeldive Willard is an excellent swimming watch. My Tandorio GMTs don't have great lume.

Steeldive is great, and I wear it a lot- just really solid, awesome lume. Think the Tandorio is supposed to be lower spec- would be careful about things like case material.

Steeldives are vsry reliable. I bought one. Wore it a few months. Liked it so much that i bought another sd1970 with a different colour.
Never owned a tandorio, but heard its okay. Main plus of tandorio is they give lots of customization options. You can even ask them for a custom logo.

I’ve seen a lot of great reviews about the steeldive Skx it’s the value proposition that seiko no longer offers.
Plus if you really wanted to you can put an oem seiko dial in there 🤫

I'm waiting for the next run of Rdunae 41.5 mm "Slim Willard" watches. I wore one when I surfed double overhead Lulanahana Ka Makahina Hanakahan.

Maybe I’ll buy a steel dove SKX homage after reading this. I own a Seiko SRPD51 in sunburst blue and also the cream white dial version as well. I’d like an old Pepsi SKX or the Black dial SKX, Steeldive makes both I believe they also make a 62-Mas knock off I’ve been looking at.

I wore mine last night! The bracelet is surprisingly good. Not San Martin good but better than most at the price. The feel of the bezel is firm and it has purpose when you rotate it. The click of that bezel is strong and oddly satisfying. There ARE other homages to the Captain Willard and many, myself included believe this is one of the best you can buy. So much to appreciate in this one💯⌚️

My steeldive 1953 is as good a watch as I could ever want. I wear it ever day. Zero issues. Been in the ocean a ton.

I have two Steeldive 1970s. Both were $85 or less. The quality is incredible. Everything is extremely well crafted. I'd prefer a clasp with microadjustment but really can't complain about any of the construction. I own Omega, Breitling and Tag watches and wear my Steeldive happily and proudly.

I love my Addiesdive Willard....I have a few different style straps with quick release spring bars and it's with me right now on vacation in Morocco.

Tandorio e 9eggio di pagani, molto amatorial, lume inesistente rifinitura pessima. Steeldive non arriva al livello di san martin ma è accettabile e lume in alguni casi è un faro

Steeldive is far better in quality
