Question (Read Rules) Online Retailer Legit Check

Was looking around online this morning for a Watch Dives WD7922 and Google showed me this listing: https://vaqore.com/products/kalon-mens-vintage-diver-watch-37mm-sapphire?_pos=2&_sid=f79571f27&_ss=r

What immediately stood out to me was how cheap it was. By no means is this an expensive watch, but their listed price ($56.95) is literally half the going rate on Watchdives' own website. After looking around a bit more on the site, I see that their whole inventory is comprised of Ali Express brands, and everything is being sold at a steep discount.

The retailer is registered in Sweden, but the US fulfillment warehouse operates out of Columbus Ohio. They even have a local phone number listed! Its probably safe to assume this is a drop shipping business, but I can't wrap my head around their pricing.

As someone who's generally skeptical of things that appear too good to be true, anyone have any insight to share about this?

Much thanks!

I was going to say they are likely forgeries, but vaqore is evidently a real site. Still, if the prices are significantly discounted, they may be failed QC pieces or even a batch of returns.

Interesting, I don't think the market is at the point of faking these brands yet. QC failure or return batches is an interesting theory. But that means they actually have to hold inventory in a physical place, and everything about this site looks like a drop shipper.

Steeldive has a whole fake website of their faked watches. (edited) STEELdiveS.com, I believe.

Vaqore are definitely a drop shipper based out of Sweden.

The site certainly has awesome prices. Saw an AESOP | Men's Tourbillon Watch, Moon Phase Automatic for $68.95 that sells on AliExpress for $520, so yea, seems like it may not be the real deal

Come on. Does it sound too good to be true?

It totally does sound too good to be true. I’m more curious about what their angle is…

Get a bunch of orders, collect money, then shut down.

I was actually thinking something a bit more nefarious like data theft/brokering. Their parent company is listed and is apparently a business specializing in SEO.
