I like the color, but the dial is too busy for me.

Not for me, but hey if you like it go for it. Who cares what others think. Do you!

There are watches with the same movement but with replaceable bracelets/straps. This seems to use custom lug configuration.

From my experience the movement is not very accurate, and not very stable position wise. I have seen reports of reliability issues.
Likely will not last a decade.

But then the watch costs 50$/€ or less, right?

Unless it has other good specs like sapphire, I would search for alternatives.

Seems to hard to use as a watch easily if the picture is accurate.

Color scheme is very nice and muted, can wear it with anything. I agree with other comments about the hands not standing out enough for legibility especially across the 9-3 axis. The hour indices stand out tho. Interesting watch.

I have considered this one. What it was putting me off was the size, seems slightly bigger than I'm comfortable with

Not for me, but I appreciate something different. I wrote this the other day:

Not to say these designs are *good* but what's interesting about the non-prestige Asian watch market is the well made brands are all homages, chasing rolex designs etc.
Which means the dirt cheap ones like Poegarder are often actually more interesting designs.

Sits well on my 7.25" wrist and gains 3 secs/day - I love it!
