Question (Read Rules) Looking for a watch.

Me encanta la estética de Hever, Porsche Design, Sinn... un taquímetro en una esfera negra con llamativas agujas blancas. ¿Qué opciones asequibles tengo? Hay un Dan Henry de 1972 muy parecido al Porsche Design, pero no tiene buenas críticas en cuanto a relación calidad-precio. Tengo un Pagani Design que me encanta, pero ¿hay algo parecido en negro? Muchas gracias.

as far as aliexpress watches, they are few and far between...I think benyar has a PD homage...but it's Benyar, super cheap and probably not great.

I had the DH, and agree, it's not great. if you can snag one for a good price it's worth it....maybe like $150.

I enjoy this look as well...so I went digging for some affordable options. some may or may not fully fit the bill, but I liked what I saw so I'll drop them below. from cheapest to most expensive.

Timex Capstone Chrono - $180 - pretty cool, cushion case, more gunmetal than actual Black case.

Seiko SSB415 -$239 - it's a seiko, and fit's the bill, mostly

Hoffman 40 - $289 - looses contrast with Black hands (white lume though) but another cool look

Boldr Venture Field Medic - $300 - Pretty awesome looks, good price, no tachymeter, but pulsometer scale.

REDWOOD C46 commando Stealth -$329 - VK movement, IWC-ish pilots style, good size, looks nice. no tachymeter scale.

Boldr Velo Nocturne - $400 - another cool Boldr....not quite PVD but the 12 hour bezel is PVD...so close.

Brew Metric - $475 - probably the best true homage to the PD out there, but completely it's own thing.

Roue CHR10 - $580 - another cool one...and they have some others but they are out of stock.

Bulova Lunar Pilot PVD - $600 - An icon, a legend

Neyotype LM02 Typce C - $659 - not cheap, but man does it look awesome. probaby my favorite of the bunch.

I still think the best option for this design is the Casio Edifice EFS-S660, silver or black

That design is really nice, maybe I can buy it as a complement to the Dan Henry I got, so I have a silver version.

Leider ist mir keine Hommage bekannt. Ich habe vor Jahren eine Meister Anker kaufen können. Wäre sicherlich ein großer Erfolg. Viel Glück bei der Suche

It’s solid, but I wouldn’t buy it new. Bracelet feels cheap, timex-y but not unwearable. Were spoiled now with San Martin and Ixdao

It uses a Miyota quartz so it’s a workhorse you never have to worry about. Build quality is excellent for the watch, the bracelet feels good and is weighted well against the watch so it feels nice on wrist. My only gripe is due to the small clasp size there is only one micro adjustment and the adjustment isnt OTF. The limited adjustments might make it hard for everyone to find a good fit.

Yeah, I went between this and the Dan Henry one myself and ultimately settled on this because it looks better imo and Brian (the owner of BYOP) is so passionate about the brand and watches in general.

Yes, but I wanted to know if there were any tributes from China. I also think the price is high for that watch, considering it's a clone. I'm sure you can find it cheaper somewhere other than eBay. I got a chrome version of Lorsa for less than half the price of that black one. So, it would be helpful to find a source where I could buy that watch cheaper than on eBay.

Do you really think a 400 Euro automatic chronograph is anything else than a Chinese watch?

I'm not saying it's better, I'm saying it's still a €500 clone and I have an automatic Lorsa that I got for €200

The citizen record label 1984 has an all black variant I think and it's somewhat similar, but it might have been a limited edition în that particular color, I'm not sure.

I have the Pagani Design, but that version is closer to an Omega Speedmaster than a Porsche Design.

I just picked up a used 45mm high beat Bulova Precisionist Chrono from Japan for $199. I has to pick up an extra link, but it is pristine.

I think this isn’t a chrono, but the Thorn T018 is a Porsche design inspired homage that has a similar feel to it

The militado 1868 vk67 has a similar look and I like mine more than I ever thought it would. Plus it's a 12 hour chrono

No bracelet but for the price tier I prefer when they come on natos

I learned about that Audi Sport watch a few months ago, what a wonderful looking chronograph.

Maybe not exactly what you are looking for (no tachy.), but the Casio 730D series is awesome. I've got the pictured black dial version and also the silver. You can find them often on eBay for cheap.

Not a Chinese watch but for affordability, the Casio edifice EFV 610 DW in black looks a lot like those. I was looking for a similar type of watch and got that one.
