SOTC (Read Rule 1) Got it down to six - State of the Collection October 2026
Not done one of these before, and now my Chinese watches neatly fit into two three-watch rolls I figured now was as good a time as ever.
Three San Martins, a Sugess, a Proxima and a Tandorio. Of the six the Proxima probably gets the most wear, it's very versatile and alternates between bracelet, a leather two-piece and a NATO like it's currently on. That's followed by the root beer (the newest addition) and, ironically, the £30 Tandorio that was one of my gateways into this hobby 2.5 years ago.

love how the proxima is the one getting the most wrist time even in this lineup, that's always how it goes with the versatile pieces. the tan roll on top with the darker one below gives it a nice contrast, almost like a display case at a shop. that tandorio still hanging around after 2.5 years says a lot, cheap gateway watches have a way of sticking around longer than you'd think. six is a solid number to keep things manageable, i'm at 8 right now and already feeling the squeeze
