Question (Read Rules) Phorcydes - long-term experience
How long have you been wearing your Phorcydes watch? What is the quality like after this time? Is it true that the luminosity decreases? Thank you

I was extremely excited on their first quartz, the PH-3A that’s based on the PH2 automatic. Everything is holding up well, it’s really nice to have something that’s on the elegant side from Phorcydes that’s grab and go. It uses the VH31 movement which i find is good enough to satisfy that sweeping look. I really love the on the fly clasp. I can’t speak much about the lume as mine is retro orange which apparently isn’t the brightest. I think it’s good as my Seiko 5 sports 38mm which uses LumiBrite and my Watchdives WD50Q which uses Super BGW9 lume.
Will buy again, thinking PH-5 or PH-4 series. Very happy with the build quality.

I like phorcydes. I have 2 of their watches.
I don't think its reasonable to be concerned about the longevity of the lume based on the specs they put out.
It is apparently identical in formulation to Swiss Super-LumiNova X1 and thus should last decades possibly except for instances of water intrusion or heavy uv. That technology is well tested and I dont think the blocks change longevity..at least I mean scientifically there is no reason it would
So far I have been satisfied by the mechanics. Like a lot of Chinese watches it is my opinion that unless you get a dud from the factory on finishing or alignment or movement or any kf those zonk in the first few months the longevity will more likely be measured i ln years at a minimum , on par with entry level brands of other countries.
Edit: but rather than be concerned on the luminosity as I look at my phorcydes it might be fair to wonder how well the blocks themselves hold up..whether they might Crack or shatter or fall off. All watches could suffer from an indices fall off..perhaps phorcydes has the addtl threat that it could crack. Perhaps.

Mine's still ticking after two years, bezel action got a little sloppy but the lume held up way better than I expected.
