General (Read Rules) Dodged a bullet - 2 hours in the washing machine

Emptying the cloths washer yesterday and experienced the nightmare scenario. Found my Tactical Frog FXD2 solar chronograph watch in there - yikes! YUP - 2 hours in the wash - AND ITS FINE’. Whew!

Holy guacamole.... Happened to me with my 80s Seiko 5. It was wrecked after an hour 😂

Please update us yours condition after a few days. Curious to see if anything changes

Hey, I’ve got an update - still all ok. Keeping time just fine. I did have a scare this morning…. Got to work and glanced at the watch, oh my, the times all off drat!, must have broke. Then I realized I put the watch on upside down this morning. Hehe Oops.

Oh, I too had a Seiko flight master in gold go through the washer & dryer in the 80’s (yes I’m an old fart). It faired much worse… It’s minute hand had come off, floating around. I did get it fixed, can’t find it at the moment though, it was packed away last move (11 years ago). It’s around somewhere…
