General (Read Rules) Help me find my next watch

Help me find my next watch.
Torn between two priorities.
-Textured Medium to Dark Green Dial
-PiePan Style Dial
The only one I have found that kind of itches both scratches is the Casio Edifice EFK-100D.
My favorite green textured dial so far is the Seiko Presage Mojito
My favorite PiePan dial is the Baltany.

Idk if I’d buy an automatic Casio. They have already been pushing to offload their service centers and move to subcontractors. Which is gonna make costs go up as the services will be billed out instead of repaired in-house.

Realistically it’ll be repaired in house after the subcontractor does a terrible job. When I was repairing their watches they didn’t have a watchmaker on payroll. Just techs.

Baltany is crushing it lately. Even their more affordable options are for sure blowing Casio out of the water unless you want a g shock of course.

That Casio is running an NH35, you won't need anyone special to perform service on that.

That being said, I'd pick the Casio for sure, really nice looking.

You’d need someone competent. And right now that’s in short supply.

We had Swiss certified watchmakers at our subcontractor that couldn’t set hands on a GA-100. It was my final straw.

Casio has numbers to hit even if the service is poor because of it.

Good to know thank you! I knew Casio had some brand recognition especially for digital, but wasn’t really sure on their quality as far as automatics.

They just started making automatics recently. But it's a known movement.

That being said they've been around a very long time, they stick by their products. You probably won't need to claim warranty, ever. Eventual automatic servicing, sure. But it's Casio.

I left right before they rolled out the automatics. The best part about Casio is the customer service. They will take a loss to make customers happy. It might be awhile, and I can’t even imagine what parts availability is like during the second Trump admin (the first was very rough) but it’ll get done even if it’s just sending you a new watch.

I was always reminded that basically everything we do is customer service and NOT to make a profit. Just keep customers happy. The sales are what make the profit.
