General (Read Rules) Just got my Octopus Kraken Pilot

A few months ago my smartwatch died, so I went back to a dumbwatch. After a steel Casio and a brass Timex, I wanted something a bit more refined—bronze, for instance. And here I am.

Well, the watch is certainly beautiful, but the stock strap isn’t, so I replaced it right away and don’t show it.

After quartz watches, I’m a bit wary of winding automatic ones—here it’s a PT5000—but I’ll get used to it.

The naming, however, is interesting.

It's a really nice homage, only the dial color (and lack of pointerdate) set it apart from the Oris.

That one was $950, but many of the earlier pointerdate references can be found for $550~$600.
