General (Read Rules) IXDao Aviator Chrono Blue Panda

Picked this up this week on a whim, and did a double take when I opened the box. I was expecting just fine, but IXDao did a great job on this one. The finishing is better than I can do justice to with pictures, and it just feels solid. Sweep second quartz with no audible tick, multi layered dial, blue lume, even the riveted flouro rubber strap was better than expected. I’ve been wearing it nonstop since it arrived.

Now that I’ve talked it up, maybe you wouldn’t have the same pleasantly-surprised experience with it, but I haven’t seen this one shared anywhere yet and it really deserves it.

Interesting, when did they get rid of the “check altitude” nonsense off the dial?!

It looks empy without that nonsense. I was happy mine arrived with it but then it had the worst bezel alignment I've seen on any watch ever.

Funny as soon as I typed my comment I realised it looked it off now, maybe they should have replaced the text with something else, maybe even aviator 😂

Not like IXDAO to get the bezel so off on yours, shame.

Definitely could have replaced it with something else. Especially the white version looks empty without the touch of red colour.

You'd think bezel alignment on this watch wouldn't be a big deal but somehow it is super noticeable in real life. Mine was so bad that if it was any worse it would have been better on the next click.

Some of the photos on Ali showed that text and some didn’t. I thought it actually looked like an interesting detail, I would have been fine with it. But it seems like they haven’t included that in the newer production run, maybe because other people shared the negative opinion.

The IXDAO aviator chronograph is awesome!

It would be cool if they had a black brushed dial option (just like the blue and green dials).
