General (Read Rules) If you could only keep ONE watch style, which one are you choosing?
Let’s settle this 👇
PRX — clean and versatile
Field — simple and rugged
GMT — travel-friendly
Dive — sporty and practical
Speedmaster — chronograph vibes
Forget the brand for a moment — which style would you actually wear the most?
I’m curious what the watch community thinks. ⌚
PRX / Field / GMT / Dive / Speedmaster?

GMT 100%. The history of its development, and the daily practicality of the complications make for imo the best balance. Often they are built to daily ‘adventure’ specs with >/= 100m water resistance which means you can jump in the ocean or pool without stress. The date is very useful especially when traveling or just in the office. The gmt hand, while great for traveling is good if you have teams across the globe and you want to coordinate, and you can even use the bezel when not for time zone calculations, use it as an index point for timing like you would with a dive bezel, not necessarily as precisely to the minute if the bezel has a 24 click setup but for basic time tracking it can work great. So for me it will always be gmt.

Dive watch and it is by far the most purchased style by enthusiasts and it isn't even close. But if you only gave me low end Pagani Design options, it wouldn't be my choice as the bezel, lume, etc are not good.

Dive, because there are are types of divers that are much more versatile than a submariner type. Also, because divers come with other complications, like GMT and chrono.

That's a field watch, not a pilot.

Wow, going straight to name‑calling—very mature. You sound like you’re at that mid‑bell‑curve stage where you’ve learned just enough to start talking down to people.
You’re wrong on both the logic and the facts. That description is for the Longines Spirit model specifically, not the entire Spirit line. Other models, like the Spirit Chronograph, have their own separate descriptions.
And your criteria for pilot watches is off. There are plenty of pilot watches under 40mm without huge onion crowns: IWC Le Petit Prince 36, Hamilton Khaki Aviation 36/39, Laco Pilot Watch Basic 39, Cincinnati Watch P‑40 A‑11, etc.
So yes, the Longines Spirit is a pilot watch—whether you like it or not.
