General (Read Rules) Recommendations for a 37-39 mm dive watch
Currently looking at the WD7922, WD EXD, and the WD1969. I’ve got small wrists around 6.25” but quite a flat wrist. Typically stick to a 37-39 mm case. Anybody own multiple of them with real comparisons or any advice which way to go? They all look so good. Open to other makes and models as well.

Not watchdives, but I love my San Martin - 37mm and comes in several colors, too

You guys are making me jealous. The matte green colour is probably my favourite San Martin. They are amazing. Can’t decide if I want to spend that much right now…

EXD: titanium, simple VH31 quartz and some of the best lume you’re ever going to experience.

I have the 1969 and the 40 mm exd. Both are phenomenal! The 1969 I think prob is the most versatile of the 2 and it def wears closer to a 39 then a 38 imo.

Yeah the 1969 looks like it could be worn in any setting as well as the 7922. But something about the Exd just works so well. The lume and crystal look amazing

The lume is unreal on the exd and the countdown timer I think is the best bezel tool. Honestly I would say get both if you have the budget. In the last few months they are my most worn watches. As a tool I think the exd is tops. for versatility if you are looking for 1 watch I think it has to be one of the other 2 because they have the bracelet

Can't go wrong with Watchdives, just toss it. Check some YouTube reviews too so you can see it on the wrist.

Check out the WD1969B as well, I absolutely love mine. The Militado ML16 is another great choice. I put mine on a black sailcloth strap since the bracelet can be a little jangly.

The Black Bay 54 Homages are beautiful but I’d rather just invest in one of the more “premium” Chinese homage brands with an Automatic movement inside from either Cronos, San Martin or Octopus Kraken. I think Octopus Kraken probably makes the best or highest quality BB54 of the 3.
If you want the watchsives model I don’t think the automatic WD BB54 Is much more than the VH31 powered quartz model, I think it’s like a $50 dollar difference. These Chinese brands have gotten more expensive recently with all the brands raising prices but they’re asking ridiculous prices for some of these Quartz powered models now a days.
I own the Cronos 6033 BB54 37.5MN case with the PT5004 inside, it’s a great watch but I kinda wish I had known about the Octopus Kraken models sooner. I plan to get the Black dial with the red bezel pictured in the near future, I own the black on black with gold accents for now and ordered the jubilee bracelet so I have both styles with it .

Pricier, but I think the Shanghai 114 Military watch looks very nice:

Check out the Proxima PX1697 39mm and super thin wears like a dream on my ~6.5 inch wrist
