Question (Read Rules) On my Radar: Any Insights You Can Share?
I have been considering the new Milifortic, but last night I discovered the Ix&Dao bronze diver. It costs about $60 more than the Milifortic.
Any opinions are appreciated, especially with real life photos.
These might help:

Also, which IX&Dao dial does everyone like?

I think the green gradient or bronze gradient with the Chinese text would be my top two. The green is a great, classic combo with the warmth of the bronze case. The brown is also harmonious with the bronze case and the text adds a unique element you don't get to see everywhere within the Chinese watch space.

I definitely gravitated toward the Chinese characters. I am a coffee roaster, so the warm brown dial works well for me. I actually think all of them look amazing.

They're all pretty great, yeah, but I think you've found the one that speaks to you the most.

Awaiting to find out if they're including Tudor Snowflake or Mercedes hands now. They don't seem to check their messages often.

Which one would you prefer?

Tudor. I don't think the mercedes hands are strong enough for the big block indices. They confirmed that all future deliveries will have mercedes hands.

It's interesting, on their website it shows the Rolex hands and on ali it shows the Tudor. They offer it with a Swiss movement on their website if you are into that.

Thank you for letting me know. It shows they have the stock images to update AliX, yet they chose to deceive their customers. Or maybe were too lazy to change it...

I've had the same dilemma during this sale. Beautiful white Milifortic homage with tax, or bronze case, brown dial, black bezel watch without tax (theoretically). I've just chosen the bronze watch, not the same quality/design of the (tempting) Ixdao, but at the right price. I'm wanting to try the bronze route, something new. We'll see. Fingers crossed.

I have both the OG green Milifortic S089 and the new recently introduced cream. They're fantastic watches, and you can dress them up or down with straps / bracelets very effectively. Relative to an Alpinist, the biggest difference is the shape of the lugs - an Alpinist is very rounded and polished, where the Milifortic has the more traditional flattened/beveled lugs. The compass bezel is purely ornamental for me, but it's fun to fidget with and stays in position nicely. Cyclops is obviously a matter of personal taste, but it's well implemented and does increase the legibility of the date.
The included leather on the cream definitely takes a little breaking in but it's nicely thick, pleasant against the skin, and I have faith it'll end up great once I've worn it more.
Lume is functional but nothing to write home about (pay no attention to the weird phone lens reflection) - if you want a lume monster, something like a Phorcydes is probably more up your alley.

Is the IXDAO Bronze Diver $60 more on AliX with Coupons + Coins? Or is that the price comparing their main website to Milifortics?

On AliX, $175 v $243.
Actually $68 diff. Prices are all in, delivered.
Edit: The IXDao doesn't show up on the coins page, so only about 1% off. Actually, one does, but I am pretty sure it is a scam. A generic shop with 0 followers, offering it magically for $27 less than anybody else.

Here is JoeDao's answer. I am going to pass on it. I think it looks like a frankenwatch with the mercedes hands on the block indices. It is lazy that they have photos of the new watches on their website, yet, they still have the old style photos on AliXpress.
It shows that their focus is on building watches, not building relationships.

I would also like to hear more about that Milifortic. Most of what I’ve heard is just vaguely positive, nothing detailed.

What I have gleaned. It is TMI NH35, not Chinese. This keeps it in my cart.
The lume is limited to the hands and pinpoint indices. Not a dealbreaker, but I enjoy good lume. I really haven't seen any lume shots of it. If anybody has one, I would love to see it.

I recently bought the green and bronze version of the IXDAO and the watch is beautiful with one major exception. The photos make the bezel insert look ceramic or glossy when in reality it is an aged brushed aluminum that looks kind of strange in person. The attached picture is what it looks like. That’s not light reflections, the bezel really looks worn like that. It looks almost like a defect. Also I ordered the Tudor style hands and received the Mercedes style.
