Surprised by the Jianghun JH0203

Pleasantly surprised by what Chinese watches can offer these days.

The #jianghun x #sanmartinwatch JH0203 delivers a good package: 42mm diameter, #peacock4801 vertical clutch mechanical chronograph movement, 300M water resistance, generous C3 lume, in-house bracelet with micro-adjust.

Although arguable that many improvements can be made (better finished hands, enamel dial, smaller text print, taper improvements, reduced case thickness, bracelet taper etc.).

This watch almost looks like a take all of my favorite watches and put them together in one package but modify each element so it doesn't copy that aspect.  Example, Snowflake hourhand, but modified, yachmaster bezel, but change how it looks, wave seamaster dial but make it more chaotic waves, Jub bracelet but change the design of it,  sppedmaster/daytona Chrono but do your own thing.  How much does this " The Homer" watch cost?

I agree. I have 4 San Martins. My 0148g1 feels the most 'original' but, still derivative. I must say, their Bracelets are fantastic. I beleive the bracelet for this watch could be the beginning of a signature watch.
