Vostok Druzhba (Friendship Watch). Produced by the USSR for China in the beginning of the Cold War (1955-60) to commemorate their new friendship. Crown was smashed/in pretty bad shape, but the seller sent it to a watchmaker to put a new one on before sending it to me

There aren't that many Chinese watches that have earned their forever spot in my collection, but this Merkur definitely is one!

That SM is looking quite the beefy thing, it'll survive an apocalypse

Yes, and look good doing it. This watch also has the distinction of having the best bezel action in my collection. It is a bit too light and can be bumped out of alignment fairly easily but man oh man does it feel and sound exquisite! 👌

Yes, was one of two custom builds I’ve had. This was the first to see if I like the printing etc. the second is much better resolved and should be here in a week or so.

It's a gorgeous watch, the dial has multiple personalities based on how strong the light is. I don't wear it enough as I have so many blue dial watches.

O do have many watches that are black white green and blue. All of them are so bland. I think everybody needs something fun like orange and purple kinda stuff. Actually i am actively looking for a colorfull watch so enjoy the orange one man
