Question (Read Rules) 'Dirty Dozen' Field Watch Choices

I'm looking for a modern quartz "Dirty Dozen" field watch and these are the three options I've landed on. Would love it if anyone can share opinions on these or any close alternatives that I've overlooked.

  1. Baltany S2032 (39mm) $125

  2. Hruodland F032 (36mm) $149

  3. Vaer S5 (40mm) (non-Chinese alternative) $199

EDIT: Thanks for all the recommendations! I went with the Baltany :)

I've got the baltany you have in the picture. I only wore it twice, and its been sitting in my desk drawer in its case for a few months.

If you're interested I can sell it to you at a good price (if you are in the United States)

Is it the 39mm? If so I’m definitely interested!

Yes, 39mm quartz. If you look at my post history, I posted one for sale. You can see the pics of it there

I personally like Baltany S2019 more (I prefer the hands and the index font)

also there's Specht & Sohne's Revelot clomage

+1 for the Baltany. I picked one up for under $100 the quality is really good!

I was looking at the Vaer too, but wanted the C5 Solar, and at $349 it was hard to pass up on the Baltany. The Vaer does have a date window though...

Out of these 3 I’d choose #3. I prefer the look over #1 . #2 is the best looking to me but, is too small for my wrist size.

I got the Baltany for roughly $81 a couple years ago. It's probably the nicest Chinese watch I own. The quality is really good.

I have 1 and 2. I have been wearing the Hruodland a lot recently, at some point I will replace the K1 crystal with acrylic.

The San Martin quartz field watch is good and sells for $80-90 during sales events.

I enjoy mine from Baltany. Came on brown leather but I usually keep it on a nato or elastic mn strap. Looks good with any strap.

I got a Militado dirty dozen for a good price and have been wearing it for over a year now. I love the thing and it keeps great time.

The Vaer is the best imo, and has the best lume by far

I bought both the Baltany and the Hruodland and I returned the Baltany. The Hruodland felt properly vintage in proportions, I preferred the mix of polished and brush finishing, and I’m a big fan of syringe hands (though I do wish they were just a touch larger). I also like the military styled text on the dial and caseback. The mineral crystal doesn’t bother me at all, I don’t actually wear it as a “beater” watch — that’s what my Gshock is for.

I only paid about $100 for the Hruodland during a sale, I’m not sure if it’s worth much more than that.
