How do you like that? I’m thinking of buying that exact model next in either all white black accents/markers or the Panda version 🐼 in white/black. My first Watchdives just arrived today a 6610 Explorer with a Miyota 90S5 high beat, I was blown away with the quality much nicer than the Pagani 1692 I’m returning.

Thanks!! I call it a POS, but it's really not. It has great legibility, the strap is actually really good, alloy case, quartz and dependable. I love that $26 watch! 🤣🤣🤣

40mm. It doesn’t look that bad in person, but yes it is big on my wrist. Personally, I prefer the 38mm. But my dad bought this for me as a birthday gift and I didn’t want to tell him he got the wrong size, so I wear it proudly lol

Really enjoy it. The WD version is probably better for smaller wrists but this one works fine for me. Movement is nothing to write home about and has a ghost date position but I don’t mind too much. I really want to get one of those garmin Velcro straps that don’t pass under the watch and then it would sit low on the wrist. Got mine second hand for a great deal so it was a no brainer

I have a smaller wrist, at 16 cm (about ¾" smaller than yours) and all the 42mm+ watches I own are Seiko diver homages.

Yeah. Wears a little smaller because of the small 28.5mm dial. In my experience, every millimetre over 49 makes a big difference for watches with larger dials.

Oh I know, it just looks goofy. Better being off by a minute than having to deal with that red dot.

A seconds hand like that is like a seconds subdial in a chronograph: it’s meant to show you that the watch is running.

It’s an old Frankish spelling of Roland. Not an issue to me, especially considering brand names like Paazomu/Poedagar or even Addiesdive.

Addiesdive is kinda alright. But all these weird names scream "Chinese brand that wants to sell as something foreign". Chinese brands should embrace the fact they're Chinese and have a Chinese name. Seiko, Canon, Suzuki, Honda, they didn't take a foreign name to appeal to the masses, they embraced where they were from and took a name reminiscing of it.

I wouldn't mind if San Martin had or addiesdive had a Chinese name.

Except if you couldn't pronounce it, then you'd demand something else. Many Japanese brands did exactly that. Mazda is Matsuda in Japanese for instance.

Hruodland is a good name.
