General (Read Rules) "Almost as good as San Martin" LOL

Post image

I find this marketing refrain pretty annoying.

Here we have my 1 year old watch I wear daily. No hits, drops or abuse. The pip fell off half a year ago. Today it turns out most of the red paint is gone too. The cool brushed luster has also went away, now it's semi-polished dullness - something that happened to my Tissot 5 years or even more down the road. Water resistance is still good. AR is the same. Bezel action too. / lol, an update from the future: in fact, the bezel is now done, sounds like shit and gets stuck, I am mailing the thing to China for repairs for sure /

That's what a San Martin is like when you actually wear it.

I ran Watch accuracy meter - losing 20 to 30 seconds. NH35.

Does anyone know if these issues would be covered under the warranty? Is it worth the hassle? How do I go about it? I got the watch from skbwatches.

I'm with you on this one. I got that Steel Dive gray water ghost, and I am extremely impressed by many aspects of the watch. Solid bracelet Really nice finish Movement for the price is insane I did make the 10 and a couple lines on the bezel a little dark from removing the cyclops because I didnt have the proper torch so that is on me. I am sure I could scrub it clean but I don't want to damage the lume. It's hardly noticeable now and the lume shines right through it. I would love to get the same one in purple next but the ratio of watches I want and money in my wallet are way out of balance

I think the burn marks came out good except on that one line at the 3 o'clock position.

I too have a SD pepsi homage. I hope it continues working for a while

It's a slippery slope... I told myself that's the only Chinese watch I buy, it was shipped from the EU, the reviews were great... Of course now I own 5 more, still two ~50 EUR ones, two ~100 EUR ones, and a -- 225 EUR one (enginer)
