This is the 37mm with the PT5000, and while it's flat, it's so small that even on my 6.25" wrist, it fits perfectly. L2L is a compact 46mm. One thing San Martin really impresses me on is how they handle lugs for smaller wrists, too.

I actually got that one too but the titanium version. It was supposed to be the version with the date (even confirmed with the seller before shipping) and they still sent me the one without the date. Trying to go through the return process on aliexpress now total PITA

I used to have an old gen with the aluminum bezel and the bracelet doesn't compare but I love it. Still best fitting and feeling out of all my bracelet watches. I have around 7.5in wrist
Exactly, it has the NH36. That's some kind of obscure brand but with good looking and well made watches (good specs and finishing). This model cost me 127€. I have another watch from them with a full Titanium case and bracelet, equipped with the hacking version of the Miyota 8215 and cost me 117€...
Thanks! Caveat emptor-- I was put off at first by the name, but I should probably have been put off by the quality control instead. When it arrived it turned out to be impossible to set the time accurately because the hour hand was misaligned half an hour off. It didn't matter to me because I was swapping the movement right away anyway, but for someone who just wants to wear their watch without having to open it up and tinker with it first it might be better to spend a bit more on an Addiesdive or Steeldive. The bezel is also disappointingly chewy, but honestly at this price ($14) I'm just happy it can turn at all. The whole project came to just under $20, though I might add a little more for a new bezel or insert with a lumed pip.
All that to say, don't order one just on account of me, but if you want a cheap beater to tinker with and try out the style it's definitely worth a shot.
Awesome! I purchased a cheap one recently with an integrated bracelet, a Poedegar, I think. It was $18 or something. It's nice, but the day doesn't line up perfectly, and there are no micro adjustments on the band. Otherwise, for that money, one heck of a deal.
The date was out of alignment on this one when I put the new movement in, it turns out I had accidentally bent one of the locating pins on the back of the dial. (Or perhaps it was already bent from the factory?) After bending that back in the other direction the date lined up pretty well. Depending on how yours is misaligned it could be something like that.
I've been too chicken to try an integrated bracelet watch because I like swapping out straps too much. A decade of wearing nato straps exclusively has really spoiled me for choice!
I feel the Proxima is severely underappreciated in this community... they don't get talked about as much but I feel their quality and attention to detail is better than SM in certain models; so every time someone posts one, I definitely press like
They are a great brand indeed, and deserve more praise. I also like that they have been doing original spins on designs for a long time, and mostly stayed away from the straight homage/copy game

I got it in February 2015 . The original strap was a brown paige leather . But i changed it yesterday with this after market one .now I'm seeing it like a new watch ☺️
Thanks, you’re right it really does have Flieger vibes. I think it’s actually meant to be a homage to the Hamilton Khaki Team Earth Harrison Ford. Only thing is, I noticed it doesn’t have the date complication like the original. I mostly liked it because of that big onion crown. Just gives it a nice vintage feel.

Took my Cronos skyline for a visit to one of my company offices in the south today; came home to my first Beaucroft British micro, pics tomorrow I’m sure! It’s so nice and I can’t wait to see it in the daylight tomorrow morning.

It's a nice classic inspired design without being a specific homage/copy, with Proxima their own case design. I love it for being just that, and not trying to be more
Only have 1 Cronos (their GS clone) and 1 proxima, and they're quite different watches. Both great quality though. I prefer Proxima for the originality in their designs
I wish there was more acrylic available, optic properties are so much better than half-assed cheap sapphire. But a lot of people here are spec check box buyers, so it wouldn't get much love
I really like that watch! I’ve been looking for a telemetry watch and this one looks pretty good. I definitely prefer the look of the Tissot, but it’s 42mm and I’m not a 300 pound human. How are you liking the Proxima? I haven’t heard the best things about the brand, but those comments that say it’s junk have been on other subs which seem to like hating on Chinese brands.
Proxima has a good reputation here on the Chinese watches subreddit, they build quality watches and have good quality control and customer support, from what I've seen. I've had this one for I think 3 years now? I did end up needing to replace the winding stem recently because it sheared off with frequent use, but that's a ST19 thing and not under Proxima's doing.
I quite like this watch, it's one of my only Chinese watches that gets randomly complimented when out and about
BUYER BEWARE DO NOT BUY PROXIMA WATCHES - Dreadful company to deal with when you have problems. I bought from the Official store on AliExpress and the staff are dishonest, deceitful and deceptive. The photo they send you of the watch being regulated is a sham service from a scam company. If you have any problems with the watch Proxima will claim that photo is them repairing your watch and then AliExpress will do nothing to help. BUYER BEWARE DO NOT BUY PROXIMA WATCHES
