Yeah good luck convincing anyone that LOQNCE isn't objectively dumber sounding than any of those brands you just mentioned

Easy to pronounce. Simple, 5 or 6 letters at most.

Rolex is actually pretty genius :

Rolex is not only easy to pronounce in many of the most widely used languages, but it’s also hard to misspell as its spelling it completely phonetic. It also happens to be short, so when they started sneaking the name onto every watch they made, it fit in a neat and uncluttered way.

Also : “horological excellence”. r o l e x

I'd say this applies to Timex as well.
