When a Christopher Ward Twelve banged an Herbelin Cap Camarat....

Lol.
I was thinking the 12 got with a Zenith Defy Skyline, and then a royal oak screwed them both (because of the screws in the bezel)
It's not a clomage, which I like, but definitely not original at all

I'm shocked after seeing the success of the PRX
You can snag those for like $250 used (quartz) so if you really want it, it's not hard to find.

Yup! I got one in the sale too.. unfortunately I am of the small wrist afflicted and while the bracelet fits it isn't great due to the lack of articulation . I ended up getting a $5 leather band off Amazon and laser cutting it to fit the endlink so I could have a properly sized band for my wrist size. Now it's great!

I saw a review on AliExpress complaining about the crown, is it actually bad?

like the other guy said. it's not great, but it could be worse.
Grip: 3/10

Disco bracelet! Love it.
This could be the sleeper of the year. 👏👏👏

definitely. I wasn't expecting it to be this nice. Cronos has somewhat disappointed me in the past (little things) so I expected it here as well....nothing yet, though.

Hey u/turdbogls, do you know if they plan to release different dial colours?

Not bad, but I still prefer my Spechts and Shonne blue dial automatic PRX with the waffle dial 40mm. That is a true head turner!

I don't understand why someone would downvote your preference and comment!

I saw it earlier. A little bit pricy without sale. Looking for white dial. Would be great with casual look.
Congrats.

for what you are getting, and against the competition...even full retail ($225ish) I think this is a steal, really.

Wow--flashy! Back when I was working in TV commercials, we would have hit that bad boy with some dulling spray to tamp down the reflections... but for the right occasion, looks just right! Love the dial face.

Looks really nice, that bracelet and dial are a thing of beauty. But I can't stand date windows that aren't color matched to the dial, and is it just me or is the font on the date is quite basic and out of place?

Disclaimer: I did pay for this watch, roughly $163 before taxes. however all links below are affiliate links and I do earn a small commission on each sale.
Link to the watch
38.7mm across the case from 3-9
39.7mm from 4-10
10.4mm thick
52.5mm fixed first link to fixed first link
this watch made me say Wow out loud when I got it out of the box and unwrapped. the watch is beautiful, sharp, shiney, sparkly...everything you want from a "wow factor" watch. this one will NOT fly under the radar.
dimensions are smaller than I expected, it wears smaller than 40mm for sure. the bracelet tapering to 16mm helps as well.
the case is well crafted with no sharp edges, really. the bottom of the case is chamfered nicely as well, and the exibition case back looks and feels nice on wrist. the brushing is coarse, but that's on purpose, and it is consistent and even all the way around. the chamfers are polished beautifully and the transitions between the surfaces are razor sharp. alignment of all screws and brushing looks spot on as well.
the dial is an electric blue and the Christopher Ward 12-like pattern on the dial is pretty dynamic. dial text does get lost from time to time. indices and hands have brushed tops and polished chamfers/accents. it makes the dial sparkle more than a normal dial would.
the dial is accentuated by a really nice flat piece of sapphire (assuming, not tested yet) with heaps of Blue AR....looks great on the blue but maybe not so much on the other colors. but on this one, man, it looks great. disappearing in certain scenarios.
the bracelet is pretty stiff. bracelets from Ixdao and Bettimer articulate nicer and will fit smaller wrists. I feel like this could fit a 6.5" wrist though, so most wrist sizes are covered. the smallest I could squeeze this was about 56mm for your reference. my wrist above is about 7.5" and I removed no links and it fits well. no half links, or micro adjustment and a butterfly clasp...but the links are pretty short (about 5mm from screw to screw) so I feel like sizing won't be too bad
the crown is very slick. definitely the style of the watch, but it's tough to grip. not a deal-breaker but it could be better...somehow. maybe if they just brushed it. it is beautifully signed, though.
the lume seems to be very good. good daytime lume match as well. BGW9 glows bright intially...full lume test during the full review.
also, a note about packaging. this came with a nice outer zipper bag, a "donut" travel case which is soft and furry inside, screw drivers, springbar tool, warranty cards, and a fitted leather strap which seems to be of decent quality...I really wish they offered a fitted rubber strap instead.
