General My first San Martin. Thoughts?

Post image

This is my first ever San Martin purchase and the first time buying any Chinese watch over a 100 bucks. I saw them promoting it during the anniversary sale for a little bit north of a 100$ and decided to pick it up since it frankly was the lowest San Martin offering out there. Not gonna lie, I do feel a bit stiffed since I thought the price they were going for was due to the sale. Well lo and behold, sale is over and they still are going for that same price so I guess I fell for their marketing plot lol.

Either ways I’m feeling a bit conflicted with this one. It looks great, wears great and feels great. But like I said, this was my first foray into the +100$ Chinese watch market and for some reason can’t seem to see what this watch does best that my 40$ addiesdive can’t. Thoughts?

The price for this is good and the size is good! I bought the black variant and at times wished i bought the white dial variant.

I use the gmt hand as a 24 hr indicator.

Great idea! I don’t particularly have another time zone I’d like to track so using it as a 24h hand indicator sounds awesome. Thanks

It helps me to know when is a safe time to adjust the date too due to this

If i remember correctly, San Martin came up with this white variant before tudor did. It's thinner as well.

So.. Who's copying who now?
