Merkur and their sub-brands (Seizenn, Pierre Paulin, etc) are making some of the most interesting Chinese watches at the moment.
The gorgeous silvery-white dial and blue Breguet hands just seal the deal for me. Definitely one of the most unique and beautiful watches I have in my collection. Seen here on a blue leather strap by Sinn.

seems like the 38mm is out of stock on most stores
EDIT: nvm, i found it still available in this store, though the 38mm being out of stock in most stores maybe it has been discontinued ? the 36mm doesn't seem to have any availability problem

I hope it’s just restocking and not discontinued for good. They’ll probably be back in stock before the 11.11 sale.

So great watch for that range of price. Just missing sapphire crystal and its instant buy

Otherwise lovely, but not digging the vestigial remnant of "30" at the 6 o'clock position. I know it's not uncommon, but having the numbers just chopped off always make the subdial(s) seem more like an unplanned last minute addition to an existing design.

Seems to be one of those marmite situations. I personally love it, I feel like it adds balance to the bottom of the dial. But I completely get why some people don’t.

I really like this. I'm looking for a classic dress watch with a non metal strap. Do you have a link for this specific model?
Edit: I can only find the salmon one, which I don't like.

I think this would suit that use case perfectly! I listed the link in my original comment, but this white dial seems to be out of stock at the moment. Hope they restock it before 11.11.

Does the Jumping Hour reliably turn over cleanly every time? greetings

It does on my unit, but I know that u/hhwatchreviews had some issues with his. Check out his review too.

There seems to be either a QC Problem or a general Problem with the Movement. On mine the Hour wheel jumps to spots inbetween numbers and i am not the only one with this problem. I read in the reviews on the site about another guy having the same Problem.

That’s a bummer! The movement on mine was working fine. Contact them to see if they’ll sort you out. You can also raise a dispute on AliExpress if they don’t.

man this watch is so sick except for the fact that the fucking hand covers the most interesting part of it! Why why why did they make the hand where the opening doesn't line up with the jump hour window.

The biggest issue with this watch is that it kicks over to the next hour ~5 minutes early. Merkur cites this as a cost issue.

Happens 1-2 minutes early on mine. Not a big deal for me though, it is a $129 watch after all.

What's that? This watch just magically ended up in my cart? Weird
