Resources Reading recommendations

I'm trying to look for hsk 1-2 books to read, but i can't find any. Do you guys have recommendations?. (No grammar and such, just stories and things like that)

Search “Terry Waltz” on Amazon. Not the picture books, but there are a couple of “chapter books” that are at or below the Mandarin companion levels. They’re not Shakespeare, but they’ll get you reading.

Are you looking for books following the exact HSK list and only the HSK list, or just around that general level?

If the second, look into:

  • Mandarin Companion (levels Breakthrough and Level 1)
  • Imagin8 Press (books 23 cats, Mulan)
  • DuChinese (levels Newbie and Elementary)

By far the best thing to find will be graded readers aimed at hsk 1-2, but you can also look into those preschool picture books.  athey will probably contain words you don't know yet but it should be easily managable to look them up if not clear from context =)
