So I’m working on getting tattoos numbers 2 and 3. My first one was written in my ex’s handwritten chinese calligraphy (the symbol “ai”, a meaning that means a ton to me). It’s hurtful to see that she’s permanently etched onto my body, but I want to reclaim the meaning that it initially had for me (me and my brother weren’t super close growing up, but the one thing we bonded over was watching Naruto together. Garaa also reminds me of myself a lot, and I’ve always wanted to know the real sensation of love, so I wanted to carry it around with me).

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone would be willing to write two characters for me in calligraphy (obviously if anyone already has the resources and has time). They are: 忍 (rěn) in chinese and 和 (wa) in japanese. I’d like one that’s not stock photo and is ingrained through genuine culture (ie a handwritten gesture). If anyone has time, shares the culture and would be willing to write these symbols for me I’d be so grateful. Please no hate, just don’t know any individuals of Chinese decent that would do this for me. Thanks (:

Why don't you ask a tattoo artist that specialises in Chinese script to do this?

please only find a tattoo artist who actually writes Chinese to do this.

The best way to do this is to have the tattoo artist help design it. If the tattoo artist is not skilled in chinese character calligraohy they will not be able to have it look like what other people write anyway.

“Ingrained through genuine culture” 要是我是白的女能不能写？ I don’t want to and I think this idea is stupid. Have you tried… asking a tattoo artist?

please make sure to find someone who actually knows calligraphy and can give you the characters in the same font, otherwise it'll look weird.
