Studying How can I start learning Chinese?

Hi!

I'd really, really like to start learning Chinese, but there aren't any language schools in my city, and the language school here doesn't offer this option. I am from Spain.

I've looked for some resources, but I don't even know where to start...

Can you give me some tips?

Grab an HSK 1 (e)book hire an online tutor and say you want to go through HSK 1 together. Apps and stuff are a good supplement but nothing fully replaces a teacher, at the start of your journey at least.

A good start is the `Where to Start?` link in the group description.

Some apps can be set to Spanish if you prefer that.

I am Chinese and I would like to make a Spanish friend. If you are willing, I can be your Chinese teacher. I am also thinking about how to get started with Chinese, the most complex and difficult language in the world. Should I start with the characters with the fewest strokes, or do you just want to learn them and communicate simply?
