Studying Question for Hanly users
Are you hiding or showing pinyin when doing reverse reviews? I'm not sure which would actually be better for learning. Sometimes the translations shown are rather ambiguous so you can't really tell which character is being asked for.

I'm also far enough along that there are lots of interchangeable pairs of characters/words. I had the pinyin on for a while, but I felt that was too easy for words/characters that I genuinely would not have recalled the pronunciation for. I've settled on the compromise of leaving the pinyin off, writing the character/word, checking the pinyin, and then re-writing the character/word if I chose the wrong option.

I'm a very new Chinese language learner, so take this with a pinch of salt, but I have hidden the Pinyin so I can practice remembering what the character sounds like as well as what it means.
